Background
NII-Hub is the first privately-owned hub in North Estern Kenya that seeks to address food insecurity by providing a nexus point to innovators, creatives, investors, researchers and other stakeholders drawn from both the public and private sectors.
The Nothern Incubation and Innovation Hub (NII-Hub) is a haven for incubation of Innovations that address food and nutrition security in Arid and Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) areas by using the available renewable energy resources, leveraging the under-utilized human capital, and appropriate technology. The NII-Hub which is located in Wajir town, Wajir County utilizes research-base and data driven approaches to catalyse progress towards improving community livelihoods.
Where We Focus
The Hub focuses on agribusiness development in the SAL areas, business and policy advisory services, promoting agriculture and Skills development among youths and other special interest groups in the society.
